As such, we conduct thorough extraoral and intraoral exams. Extraorally, we check the head and neck area, lymph glands, temporomandibular joints, and lips. Intraorally, the tongue, palate, floor of mouth, tonsillar area, gums, and teeth are all thoroughly examined.
